Οι μαθητές άκουγαν
τα λόγια του δασκάλου
κι έκλαιγαν με τα θύματα
διότι τώρα τα έβλεπαν
να τον αγκαλιάζουν τρυφερά
για να του δώσουν δύναμη
για να παλέψει τους βαρβάρους
που τα είχαν γενοκτονήσει
κι όταν ακουμπούσε το στήθος του
με το χέρι της δικαιοσύνης
δυσκολεύτηκαν ν' αντέξουν
τη ζωή των νεκρών
και των αγέννητων.
